REDUCE VIOLENCE BY TEACHING ETHICS TO KIDS

“Give me a child and at age 7 I will return to you a man” Aristotle 2024 BC

How can we blame young people for being violent if they’ve never been taught the difference between right and wrong?

Too many schools have given up on teaching values, too many homes set bad examples and traditional organizations, like boy scouts and churches are seeing participation declining. Kids are often learn on their own on the streets how survive and nor how to get along.

A new program is emerging which teaches kids Right fro Wrong by focusing on simple code of ethics. While still young, Ethics-4-Kids is already showing promise. The program uses basic principals of Right and Wrong such as: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, show honor and respect to others and self-worth, etc. This program starts in preschool and runs through 3rd grade, focusing on three audiences, student, parent and teachers. The components of Ethics-4-Kids centers around the concept on “Oneness” by Jeffery Moses, which covers universal values five of which are:

1. Respect for others

2. Honor your caregivers and teachers.

3. Giving is more important than receiving.

4. Controling your own destiny.

5. Perseverance is the key to success.

While our nation stands paralyzed over issues like gun control, rampant crime, and homelessness we see our children growing up in a state of chaos with no clear direction. If we want to see change, we must move beyond symptomatic solutions and get back to “teaching basic values to the very young”. If we do not make the effort now, this generation of young people will only expand the existing level of violence, suicides and poverty.

As the E4K curricula has moved forward, suites for Homeschooling and Faith-Based topics have been added and most recently interactive AI driven programs that actually interface with the students. Also books, video, and social media recommendations are included.

E4K is a 501C3 non profit corporation which we invite you to join. E4K’s curricula are available free of charge to everyone who downloads the programs.
