It has been quite a month. Jim and I established the virtual bookstore ad and placed it on the National Homeschool Association's storefront.
We also established and received funding for our social and digital media platform, which brings support to Jim on the tech side of our ledger.
We will be represented at the Chester County Homeschool expo next month, by the president of the association. (I am unavailable on June 6th)
We received our 501C3 accreditation, which set the stage for applying for funding through grants. I attended a grants seminar and it appears we are in good position to make application. More on that in June.
We have formed a partnership with Ethic-4-Schools who specializes in creating resource materials such as books, videos, songs etc and they will create custom programs for us. We agreed to share our websites which expands our marketing effort and exposes us to their base, it also adds curricula to their product line. They do no offer curricula and we need resources --- it seems like a perfect marriage.
Speaking of grants: the opening paragraph for applying is as follows: "Every day, 12 children die from violence and 13 from suicide, and these numbers are growing. Our youth are in crisis, and immediate action is essential. E4K is committed to addressing this epidemic by instilling traditional values and teach right from wrong to our youngest children. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help, and need it now."
